COVID-19 – A Letter to our Patients
Dear NLDG Patients,
During this challenging time of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are making some temporary changes to keep our patients, staff, and community safer. Our highest priority is to keep all of our patients and staff as safe as possible. We have always followed the CDC and American Dental Association guidelines and continue to meet and exceed those practices each day. Masks are no longer mandatory for all patients, we do ask that you are mindful and respectful of others around you. We are keeping the temperature in our office on the cooler side, you are more than welcome to bring your own blanket or sweater with you since we can not provide you one at this time.
Please be aware that COVID-19 spreads very easily, if you are displaying any of these following symptoms or risk factors please make our office aware in advance:
- Cough AND a fever of 100.3 or higher
- Shortness of breath
- Been someplace where COVID-19 is widespread within the last two weeks
- Have had contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19
When you arrive for your pre-scheduled appointment, please call the office at 815-485-2345 to check in with our front office staff. To maintain social distancing and allow for patient screening, we are only allowing a limited number of patients to enter at a specific time. Once you have checked in over the phone, the front office will let you know when you may enter the building.
We are taking extra precautions at our office to protect our patients and staff. Our staff will also be screened each day prior to seeing any patients and will be wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
